SafetyCulture’s Sydney headquarters is a 9-level workplace designed to prioritise collaboration, creativity and connection. Across the building, the design integrates branded, experience-led spaces that reflect the company’s culture and client-focused approach.
At the heart of the foyer sits a custom-designed biophilic installation developed through collaboration with Folia Network — the world’s first application of Junglefy Breathing Tree technology.
Rather than a standalone object, the installation was conceived as a fully integrated architectural system. It combines modular living wall technology with custom-engineered steel structure and a canopy of climbing plants, forming a sculptural intervention that sits within the building’s broader spatial language.
The system incorporates 24 modules of Junglefy Breathing Wall technology within a 4-metre-high structural “trunk”, supporting over 230 plants. Designed as an active biofiltration system, it contributes to indoor air quality while embedding greenery directly into the workplace environment.
This project demonstrates Folia Network’s capability to deliver bespoke biophilic infrastructure, combining horticultural systems, engineering integration and architectural intent. It reflects an approach focused on tailored solutions for clients seeking to embed living systems into complex built environments, rather than off-the-shelf products.
